How do you guys pronounce "Ubuntu?"

1. oo-boon- too?
2. ub-bun-too?
3. oo-bun-too?
4. ub-boon-too?
5. you-boon-too

same. everything linux-related sounds strange when I say it in real life.. in my head it's fine though.

same. everything linux-related sounds strange when I say it in real life.. in my head it's fine though.

Haha yeah, I heard some linux terminology on a podcast once and they said it way different than I say it in my head.

ooboontoo here, but the oo pronounced quite short.
I'm not an english speaker so I don't get all the subtilities. What is the difference, for instance, between
4. ub-boon-too and
5. you-boon-too ?


Same for
1. oo-boon- too?
3. oo-bun-too?
The u in the middle is more pronounced like the 'e' of "the' or 'middle' ?
