Intrepid Ivex is in development and not available for upgrades. You can download an iso of Alpha1, burn it to disk and do a clean install, but I do not recommend it to you at this stage.

Perhaps you mean 8.04.1? If so just keep doing regular system updates and the 8.04.1 update will come through ;)

The option to upgrade was available for me last night. I installed the update, thinking it was 8.04.1. When I restarted after the update, I logged in as usual and was greeted by a nice looking peach colored screen. No UI of any sorts, nothing at all but a monitor full of peachiness. If I reboot, and change the session to gnome - failsafe, I get in to the desktop fine. Any ideas why it won't do the same for the default gnome session? HELP?!

P.S. I have verified the version is currently 8.10
