I have no idea what I did, but I guess I clicked something funny on the panel at the top. I removed/hid all the icons that are usually in the upper right except for my name, system time, sound icon, and the quit icon. The Network manager, Pidgin icon, and all the other icons that usually go there have vanished. Pidgin no longer minimizes to that section when I try to do that.

It's probably something simple/stupid I did, but any help?

You removed the system tray...:)
Right click to panel, choose "Add to panel" and add the "Notification Area" applet...

Still can't see the Network Manager or Pidgin and such, should I add something else?

You may have the spacing set to small, right click on the little dotted rectangle (notification area) and choose move, then drag it over to give more room for these to show.

Guess you kinda have to restart first.....

Thanks so much. System tray...why didn't I think of that?
