I have a Dell XPS M1330 red laptop ( )

I was having a nose around the BIOS the other day when I noticed in the list of hardware showing what audio card I had, graphics card etc, it said something along the lines of:

Flash Cache Module [NONE]
Cellular [NONE]
Wireless [INTEL WIRELESS]

I get that I don't have a cellular card, and that I have an intel wireless card, but what the hell is a Flash Cache Module?

Also, when I do further down the menu's, Flash Cache Module is set to [ENABLE]

So something I don't understand and don't have is enabled? Will that cause problems? Should I turn it off?

I believe Flash Cache is a disk cache that some Intel machines have. I have the same laptop and the Flash Cache was configured just as you've described and I had no problems leaving it like that. I've also had no problems since I've disabled it in BIOS. So, if you don't have it, it doesn't seem to make a difference if you have it enabled or disabled.
