I am planning on getting a router so I can stream internet radio stations and maybe move to a VIOP phone service. Does it make any difference if the router is half duplex or full duplex for the applications I want to use? And does anyone have any suggestions as far as brands that may work best with Ubuntu? While doing a search for routers, I came across one by Zonet (model ZSR0104CP) that seemed like it would be a good choice, but since I have never bought a router before, I would appreciate any help so I don't buy a really worthless model.

Thanks for your help.

any mainstream router will be able to handle the things you want to do.

Here is the router I use. It is based on linux. I don't know if you need a wireless router or not. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124190
