Major Help Needed!!!!!!!!!!!

I am currently installing Ubuntu on another pc, when it came to partition the HDD i selected Guided - Resize.

I pressed accept or whatever and now it says please wait, resizing partition.

It has been on 0% for 10 minuets, it's a 500GB SATA2 HDD
