Volumne Icon Missing

I have Ubuntu 8.04 installed with all of the current updates.

For some reason the Speaker Volumne Icon has disappeared from the panel.
How do I get this back?

HI!
Simply right-click on the panel, click on Add to Panel..., look for the Volume Control there and drag it to wherever you want it (on a panel, of course ;)).

Mine too. Luckily the sound still works, but I'd like it back, anyway. :(
