I am trying to install ubuntu on my friend's desktop (compaq presario sr1830nx). I've tried dual booting it with windows, using WUBI, but they all end up with the same problem. After I type in the username and password, 5 seconds later the screen goes back and it asks me to type in the user name again.
I've tried multiple cds 32, 64 bit. Has anyone else had this problem?
