what do you think of this umpc?

im looking for a laptop perferably small with a good sized hd and battery life and i found this. what do you guys think? i personaly think it is really stupid to have a linux preloaded laptop with a windows key lol

not bad, except it seems to run hot, so try to get a cooler.

you may also take a look at a cheaper 1 with a bit smaller screen 7" and 30gb HD

else, if the eeePC's 20gb HD is small for you, i would get that HP :)

It looks ok, The reviews are largely favourable (and no one complaining about it not having Windows), but it seems to be hot (which can happen to any notebook) at times and has a small battery (to be expected). If it has what you want, and you can't get yourself a Thinkpad (even the smaller ones), it seems like a good deal.

I wouldn't recommend the HP Mini-Note; I'm not a huge fan of Via processors. If the EeePC doesn't do it for you, I too would recommend the Acer.
