Has anyone tried one of these? If the 3W is enough for me to hear music while I cook, then I'll get it.

aah, cooking is way better with music. (cough, see blog) I am going to watch this thread 'cause I want to know what its like as well.

/sit in chair with some :popcorn:corn and wait for reply describing quality of speaker.

Looks like we're out of look on this one barbedsaber. But I'm with you on the cooking with music. It's so much fun. I think music you like makes you cook better actually.

So it seems like they're slightly better than laptop speakers, but not a whole lot more. I'll pass on these this time. They're being sold under different names but the same basic model. Here's one of the reviews I found

I'm pretty dissapointed. If I melted down all the powersupplies and cables connected to my laptop, I could make a new one so I'm always eager to ditch wires.
