Did you ever find an answer to your question.. I to am looking for Ubuntu drivers for a Sharp AL-2040CS printer. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks for you help and attention.

I would thank you for DELETING this thread, because it always wothlessly comes up in searches, and it offers nothing... remove it or at least say something.. I for one am still looking for a solution to this problem.. Sharp is worthless, as is this forum...
