No matter what i plug in my laptop, i get the error:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda, missing
codepage or other error In some cases useful info is found in syslog -
try dmesg | tail or so
dmesg gives me:
[ 433.245531] sd 8:0:0:0: [sdb] Write Protect is off
[ 433.245536] sd 8:0:0:0: [sdb] Mode Sense: 03 00 00 00

I used to have this problem before but fixed it with this: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=432103
"The problems disappears when line 155 in
/usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/10osvendor/20-storage-methods.fdi"
I got a clean install of kubuntu with KDE 4 Beta 2 BTW.
Help!
