Install KDE4 without extra kubuntu apps?

Hello, I was just wondering if it is possible to use KDE4 without having to install all the apps that come with "kde4-core"

I just want to use the window manager, all the apps i get i mostly wont use and are annoying to manage whether it be removing or hiding them in my menu.

Any solution?
