In the last week, the following major bugs have been fixed on my system:
1) GDM would hang on log out or shutdown. Had to push the power button to get out of it.
2) NetworkManager errors on shutdown. Now gone. (This is due to the fact that I downloaded nm-applet 0.7.0 from the PPA, not an Ubuntu update per se)
3) Flash crashing sporadically.
4) JavaScript drop-down menus being drawn behind SWF objects.
With these major issues out of the way, I feel like I have a Linux distro that I can show off again. :)
