View Full Version : In search of the Top 10 man pages

Ok, man pages (manual pages for those who don't know what they are) usually suck! They are technically written, usually cover all the features but lack examples and don't really help those of us who are beginners. I call it documentation written from technophiles for technophiles -- not human beings.

I've seen some man pages written suprisingly well. screen (man screen) would be one of these (Thanks LaRoza). I'm in the search for others. Any other favorites?
