I'm thinking of how rubbish Apple was when Jobs wasn't there. Of course Apple makes good products and microsoft rubbish, but they might loose some of their business cunning, vision, and direction with Gates gone. If they put out dramatically worse **** even worse then they do now, just as Ubuntu is becoming popular, maybe good things happen?

I don't think so, I think the only thing that will really kill them is ignorance. Right now they are experiencing huge ignorance when they should be innovating, both in the market and in the OS department.
