Word anti-association

Another silly thread game. I'm sure you know how "Word association" goes.

This works like pretty much as the "anti" to that, like this:

Person A posts a word.
Person B tries to find a word that has little/no association to the previous word.
Person C disproves the previous 2 words' anti-association (proves an association).
Person C tries to find a word that has little/no association to the previous word.
(Person D disproves, posts a new anti-association.)
(Person E disproves, posts a new anti-association.)
(Person etc., etc.)

Here's another way of looking at it.

Person A:
":)" (new word)

Person B:
":-D" ("anti-associated" word)

Person C:
":)" = ":D" (gives proof of word association)
":o" (new word)

Person B, or A or D, etc.:
":o" = ":D" (gives proof of word association)
":?:" (new word)

etc.

Either combine enough staplers that, when simultaneously stapling them, the result of the "k-ch, k" produces a percussive pitch of "A", or, simply use one stapler that happens to be a model, size, etc. that when stapling, alone, produces the pitch "A", and you have an association between the note/pitch "A" and "stapler". :D (Pitch does exist within "non-pitched" percussion.)

tick and coffee: coffee is commonly prepared with coffee machines. These machines use a complex, and possibly proprietary system, which dosnt matter to the subject. At any rate, at a set time and/or temperature, the coffee machine ticks, and either ends with said tick or chimes. This is how ticks and coffee can be associated.
