Gnome, KDE, and XFCE4

I put together an old PIII machine for my mother and recently switched the Desktop Environment from Gnome to Xfce4. For this lower end machine Xfce4 runs a bit faster. I like KDE's Control Center, but thought that this particular machine would have trouble running it. I've decided that I like Xfce4 better than the others. So if anyone is having trouble with KDE or Gnome, or just doesn't like them, then I recommend Xfce4... especially for older machines.

(I'm sure this has been talked about before, I hope I'm not annoying anyone)
