Hey,
RASnet is proud to provide you an IRC server to discuss on. You can feel free to create your channel and operate it as you wish. We offer a stable and reliable chat experience. We also offer forums for your group if desired and virtual hosting (Web,Email,FTP). You can start a channel for anything you want. For a community, project, help, or for general chitchat. You will find that the IRC Operators are fair and they will not interfere with YOUR channel's activities.
There are currently nine dedicated servers linked to form the RASnet IRC network. These nine dedicated servers are located in 3 different countries and have great connectivity. To make managing your IRC channel even easier (compared to EFNet and other networks) RASnet uses Anope Services (ChanServ, NickServ, BotServ, ConnectServ). Bots and trojaned clients are not a problem since the network is equipped with SecureServ which scans incoming clients.
I hope you will consider my offer!

The details are as follows:
RASnet IRC Network
Standard ports are: 6667 (Non-SSL) and 6697 (SSL)
Major Server (resolves to a random server on the network): irc.rmachine.net

Current Major Channels: #lobby - General hangout and chitchat
#w4ck1ng - w4ck1ng.com IRC channel

Thanks,
The Management

Most of us use freenode here, since that is where most of the big projects are anyhow.
