:confused:I had windows as well as ubuntu unstalled on my PC, I wanted to remove ubuntu from this pc. I started my computer up from the partion with windows on it and deleted the partion with ubuntu on it. Computer ran fine and then i updated...i had to restart. When i turned my pc back on i got the usuall HP start up screen as this pc is a HP. But then i received a message saying something like

GRUB LOADING
PLEASE WAIT...
Error 22

Thats it...i cant F11 and do a system restore...i cant boot up form my ubuntu disk...the only thing i can do is get into my BIOS...im stuck...im now realizing simply deleting that partion was not smart...

Try using super grub (http://www.supergrubdisk.org/)
Boot the super grub cd and select Windows then, fix boot of windows it will do what fixmbr would do if you had the vista disk.
