KDE 3 turn out to be my favourite

I thought KDE was **** before because I used KDE 4, then I try KDE 3.5.

Awesome!! Love How I can customize it as much as I like.
It has very complete functionality.

Now my preference: KDE>XFCE>gnome

Well, it's not really fair to compare something which is nowhere near finished to something with loads of polish.

kde4 shows lots of promise, but it really is a giant mess right now. i expect almost everyone will be using it by the time kde5 beta comes out.

it's catching up, it should substitute kde3.5 completely.

it's in development and not recommended at the moment.

they just released it early so a bunch of people would test and complain so they can make it better.

developemnt is faster than ever thanks to all the complaints, rants and ..... somewhat to the bug reports :p
