sayakb
July 2nd, 2008, 08:26 PM
To start with, do you have a launchpad account?

_Sandeep_
July 2nd, 2008, 08:28 PM
What is Launchpad?

sayakb
July 2nd, 2008, 08:31 PM
Well, Launchpad is a website where you can get softwares, report bugs, develop and upload your own programs, answer/ask questions about GNU/Linux.
https://launchpad.net/

Register for launchpad by clicking the top right Log In/Register link. You will have to provide your email address and a confirmation email would be sent to you. You have to check your email and reply to the confirmation email to finalize the launchpad registration.
Please do this much and reply here. :)

Ya cool. And yes, you don't have to thank me in every post.. LOL

_Sandeep_
July 2nd, 2008, 08:35 PM
OK. Why? Is thanking wrong? Should I remove them? One of my friends told me that we need to thanks users for posts on ubuntu forms.

sayakb
July 2nd, 2008, 08:37 PM
Lol.. well, err.. thanking isn't bad, but if you wan't to thank a user, you can just thank him once for the post you find the most useful :) Btw, you may remove the thanks you gave me if you wish to. LOL

_Sandeep_
July 2nd, 2008, 08:39 PM
OK. and no , I will not remove the thanks. All your posts are useful for me .. he he
