Does anyone have any recommendations for a PC Case about £45 (UK) but no more than £70? Its for a QUad Core PC, 4 GIG RAM, Nvidia 8500GT graphics card. Its got a decent PSU can't remember what it is, It was an energy efficient silent 750 watt PSU cost about £80.00.

My X-Blade case fans are noisy which is why I want a new case.

Hence I need a case without a PSU and would like a Silent one with large fans.

I have never bought a case before does anyone have any suggestions?

Antek NSK4000 (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Cases/MIDI+Tower/Antec+NSK4000+Blk%2FSilverTower+?productId=27192) This may suit your needs as it's got a 120mm fan on the back with a speed control and can have an 80mm at the front. Not "Silent" as such but not bad either.

This is an absolutely excellent case and fits your needs perfectly.
It's a development of the Antec P150 (no psu, unstealthed optical drives, different colour and different hard drive suspension material)

Have a look at Antec products and read some reviews.

I really like my Lian Li case; the fans are very quiet. No matter what you end up buying, I'd strongly recommend an aluminum case.

Why don't you take out the fans / replace them with quiet ones? It saves a motherboard move which always takes a fair bit of time :)

I would recommend the Antec Three Hundred. Cost is about £40, and you get 2 fans included (120mm in top, 140mm in the rear).

Cant go wrong really. I have the older Antec NSK6000 series case with 2x120mm fans and a 3.2Ghz Dual core CPu. Hardly hear the darn thing tbh the NAS box makes more noise.
