I got an old laptop, the cd-rom doesn't work, and I wanted to load Xubuntu or ubuntu on it to try it out. What to do?
Thanks

I know that my computer lets you set up a USB to boot first.
It puts it under "hard drive boot order"

I see your only choice is booting thru USB umm bios though sometimes doesnt like that very much youll have to mess with somethings in there first i think.....

Thanks, everyone, I should've mention my old laptop probably won't let me boot from usb. Reading from some of your response I found that I can netboot.
