I had Ubuntu running fine on my Acer Aspire 5100 laptop but, I then found it caused a problem with Windows making me unable to login until after many many tries and then locking up so I had to run the Vista Dskchk. It found lots of bad sectors and repaired and removed some. Windows now run perfect but now, Ubuntu seems to be loading into something called BusyBox v1.1.3 even when loading it from the "esc" menu.

What is the problem here and how can i resolve this?

I am running Vista which I installed Ubuntu through by using the .exe installer.

Many thanks

You've installed using Wubi. I suggest your going to the Wubi Forum to see if anyone else has had a similar problem, or, in the interest of time, I'm hazarding a guess that the quickest way around this would be to remove the current Wubi install and do a reinstallation.
