Hi there.
Just installed Kubuntu 8,04 KDE4 on my HP laptop. Looks pretty nice.
But it doesn't find my wireless network´card (integrated) - and there is nowhere in the settings menu where I can enter my wifi info. What to do here?
Please help me - without internet access I can't use the new OS.
...I can add two things:
1) I think wireless was shut off during installation but i turned it on while doing the first reboot after installation (there is a switch for wifi on/off on the front of the laptop)
2) I previously had a Kubuntu 8,04 beta on the same machine but i chose to format all partitions from that install so nothing should have been able to survive. The previous installation found my wifi without any problems.
Thanks very much
