That does look interesting. If I wasn't so determined to try and understand the Gnome session, I would try this little project.
It seems like a good idea but for me, doing the installation that Arch does makes me understand what is happening in my system. I know this doesn't take that out of the equation but it does dumb it down a bit more for noob people like myself who needed some more help getting use to Arch.

I'm sure you can still use it without installing kdemod4. Should give you a normal base system from what I have read.
I'm used to the normal installer so will continue using it. When available I will try the livecd though to see what it does and how the config files come out.
Might be interesting to Arch newcomers that don't want to learn the KISS way :)

Apparently the Alpha will be out really soon.

Even though I don't like KDE (or any of variants, like KDEMod) I think I can safely say that this will bring more users to Arch. Nice :)
