Hello,

I'm trying to install ubuntu 8.04, but once it gets to the opening screen, it opens the languages list, and get stuck. Ideas?

Burn a new CD. Do md5sum on the iso, burn at 4x or less. Clean the lens in your burner just in case.

Yup, i had the same problem, i reckon i burned it too fast, burn it at a slower speed.

I tried it, but it didn't help. I got to the same point and got stuck again...help!

What program are you trying to burn it with? And are you doing it on a CD? Correctly burning the .ISO file?

I'm burning it with Nero, on a cd (I have only a cd reader), and I am burning it correctly. I do get to see some opening screen, but right after that I see all the languages and then it's stuck.

Install it. Go to Mode>ISO>Burn
Selext 1x speed.
