Hello

I configured a Ubuntu Server 7.00 as firewall, proxy, time server, gateway for a LAN, file server using Samba. It worked without troubles for 5 months until i decided to do a network upgrade to Ubuntu Server 8.04 .

I control the computer with Ubuntu Server through ssh.
It happens smth strange now. If i use a file from the server, i.e. play a moovie or a song, then the Ubuntu Server computer stops to respond and i can't even ping it or enter remotely with SSH.

I suspect that the problem is Samba, although i didn't change it configuration file when i did the didtribution upgrade

I hope someone knows how to solve this problem

best regards
