[SOLVED] i keep gettin this error on dancer-ircd plz help!!

Error: no write permission for file "ect/dancer-ircd/ircd.conf" what am i doing wrong?

just give that file write permissions by hiting alt f2 then type gksudo nautilus then hit enter and in the root file manager locate the file right click on the file and give the file read and write privalages
