I was playing around with Linux Mint today, and while at first I thought I loved it, I came to realize that what I really liked about it was the themes.

So I'm wondering this: is there a way for me to get the Linux Mint themes for Ubuntu? Is this something I'd download from gnome-look? Or is there a package somewhere, since Mint uses Ubuntu's repositories?

Thanks!

*BUMP* So nobody knows? Or nobody cares?

ANY help would be great. Thanks.

Sometimes google also comes handy: http://www.google.co.in/search?q=mint+theme+ubuntu&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=com.ubuntu:en-US:unofficial&client=firefox-a

Also, sorry, but Nobody cares sounds somewhat rude. Members here work voluntarily and give equal importance to all. They might have missed this somehow. I wouldn't pinch someone I'm asking help from.

Well, I guess it could have been missed. I understand people volunteer here - that line is used quite often in replies to people who are frustrated and can't get help - but I wonder at the quality of the forums and the community when a simple question goes unanswered for so long.

Anyway, thanks for the help. I'm glad someone finally responded. :)

As for pinching someone I'm asking help from...well, I would normally threaten to "switch to another distro" but that's stupid, I guess. Besides, nobody here cares. The arrogance of the Ubuntu community is legendary. I shall, however, catalog the experience away for future reference when I need help with an OS that ought to work, but doesn't, and am seeking help from such a - ahem - "great" community.

Again, thanks for the assistance. If more people here were like you, and willing to help, well that would be a good thing indeed for Ubuntu.

Cheers. :)
