Hey everyone
I am having a hell of a time setting up what should be a home network.
basicly I want both my laptop and my desktop (both ubuntu) to talk to my "server" (ubuntu) and be able to upload and download files to and from it's HDD. But I cannot for the life of me get the computers to talk to each other let alone file share. Neigther my laptop or desktop can find my server on a the network. they are both wireless to a router and the server is plugged into it. on the server under network there is a shared folder called documents on sean_serve (the name I gave the computer at install) and the windows network folder but am unable to put anything into it. The windows network seems to be the only thing on all 3 computers.
PLEASE HELP!!!!
thankyou

The tutorial which helped me get my home networking up and running with the ability to share files can be found here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=202605&highlight=network+troubleshooting)
