View Full Version : [ubuntu] upgrades failing with this messages..........

Iget teh following messages when trying to upgrade as advised. From naother thread I ran Synaptic and Edit/Fix packages but that has no effect. I don't understand Linux. Any advice?

Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Go to System>Administration>Software Sources>And untick the CD
Try apt-get again.
