Kubuntu vs Ubuntu install Disk?

Hi everyone,

I downloaded the ISO for both Kubuntu and Ubuntu. I burned them and can view both of the CDs in Windows.

If I leave the Ubuntu CD in the drive when I reboot, it comes up ready to install. But the Kubuntu CD doesn't start up - it just loads Windows.

Why are the disks different? Any ideas on how I can install Kubuntu if the CD won't load when I reboot?

You need to burn a new Kubuntu CD. Do md5sum, burn as 'image' at 4x or less. Clean the lens in your burner. Try again.
