Latest Ruby upgrade, does it break Rails?

This morning I get the ruby upgrade which presumably fixes some important security holes. However I have heard that it breaks Rails. Does the Ubuntu update version fixes this problem with Rails? have any rails developer try to upgrade?
I'm holding back from installing the update until I hear some other people experience.

No la, it doesn't break rails

As long as you're upgrading within the same version of Ubuntu (eg, you're running Hardy, and you're installing an update from the hardy updates repository), then there shouldn't be any operation changes to the package.

That is, updates fix bugs, but don't change functionality. Hence, you can reasonably expect updates not to break anything, and if they do, that's a bug in itself.
