Ubuntu Linux on my Palm Tungsten C?

I was just reading about "Ubuntu Mobile Internet Device (MID) Edition"... is it possible to get Ubuntu onto my palm? Or any linux onto it? Thanks!

Have you had any luck with this, I just was reading about the MID and the first thing that came to mind is a Palm Life Drive that I have collecting dust at home.
