The post numbers needed for title changes is something that is easy to modify so it gets modified on occasion, when the admins don't have better things occupying their time, merely to maintain the surprise factor.

It changes with your bean count. And your bean count is the sum of your posts you posted in the technical support forums (those are Absolute Beginner Talk, Main Support Categories and Other Community Discussions forums).

I think it's safe to assume that these are, in fact, transitional because I had this "spilled the beans" before I moved up to "5 cups of Ubuntu." It was also why I spent so much time looking for this forum, I thought I just jumped through twenty or so ranks for no reason and then slid back to level 2 but this explains everything.
