When you all give commands to copy and paste into the terminal and there are more than one line on top of one another, am I to past each line separately or all at once?

Thanks,
Ed

Paste them one by one, unless the line was split in two, like sudo apt-get install program. You would copy that whole thing into the terminal. But only one line at a time.

you can generally copy all the lines in at once, and it will just execute the next line as soon as the previous line is finished. It's probably a good idea to do them one at a time so you can keep your eyes out for errors and such and to help you better understand what you're doing, but it generally won't hurt to paste in multiple lines at once if they are all accurate (i.e. don't need to be altered to include a specific file path or username)
