So, due to increased interest in this from recent posts in here and Other OS talk, I've created a forum for running Linux on old computers.

Awesome!

Edit: It's kind of empty O.O

Well, yeah, it is.
I'm using the mobile theme (You can change it) and there's... nobody there xD

Adblock+ blocks it :D
Also, I changed the theme, mobile just wasn't featured enough.

Of course! If you can't keep doing hosting without aid from ads then you are gone from the net.

Would Yes and Yes2 please identify him/herself?
There's really no need to make two accounts.

Seems interesting.

I have been trying to put Zenwalk on an old P3@650Mhz with 128MB RAM 10GB HDD and an old Intel graphics card. The most apparent problem is with X and the Intel card showing horrid artifacts when running the v-freq above 60Hz and the XFCE Terminal crashes the X session too on this card.
So I might join up.

May I then suggest using something like, say, mrxvt for a terminal?

Eh, I sent him/her a PM.
I just figured that it was highly possible that he/she was from UF.

I would but it's now 1:51 am and it will take a long time to compose the full detail of my old computer.
