I need some help or insight on how to make my very own Custom Ubuntu CD from Hardy Heron including things like backround , icon setups in panel , installed packages specially the ones i use to get my audio working and so on. I would prefer it to be a live cd but since its for my personal use i dont mind it just being an installable cd. Any help greatly appreciated im not a total noob , i've been windows less since feisty and proud of it.

Peace out from Dominican Republic.

There's many ways to do it, but this one is probably one of the better ways.

By the way, don't be intimidated by Step 2, or any of the repos stuff, it's only optional.

Wait, does this set up your own server for making a custom distro? If so, that's awesome!
