I'm having problems getting the latest version of Firefox 3 to install itself on my existing FF3 beta 4 version. I also run version 2 and when I run the FF3 upgrade it defaults to version 2. Seems odd that it defaults to v2 when my system default version is v3.
All the settings, extensions, add-ons that I want with RC1 are with the beta version. It should be fairly simple to upgrade (esp if the upgrade feature in FF was made avail in ubuntu).
I have also tried toggling the preposted upgrades in the repository (which according to web info works for Hardy -- but I run Gutsy).
Sure would appreciate some help with this.
