View Full Version : [ubuntu] First IP address in /29 range

Hiya guys,

Perhaps my problem is simple to solve, but i am a bit blurry today.

I have a x.x.x.48/29 range.. ( )
eth0 is configured to have the first usable IP address, which is .50
eth0:0 .51
eth0:1 .52
eth0:2 .53
eth0:3 .54

so my problem is..that whenever i ssh from that machine to another, it always displays that i am connected from .53, shouldn't that be .50 by default?

Can you advice me on how to get the traffic routed through the .50 IP?

Thanks in advance guys!
