I recently did a minimal install of Ubuntu following the instructions at psychocats.net. Everything seems fine, except that the xfce4 mixer (I'm using the xfce panel and some plugins) front volume control keeps resetting itself to zero.
I installed pulse as my soundcard driver, because I figured it's what Hardy would be expecting.
