hey guys....hiiii
i wanna know that which linux supports 915 mercury(Pl915GLM) motherboard.....
since i got 80 GB PATA + 80 GB SATA, Mercury 915 .. board , 512 MB ram , P-IV INTEL
Only Red Hat Lnux 9 is installed , but i don't want it...since it is now older ,no better graphics and multimedia.(i really dont want it)
i tried UBUNTU 6.10 , KUBUNTU 6.10 , Fedora Core 4 , Knoppix , VECTOR LINUX but it failed to installed on system config.
help i want to work on linux platform , which linux i should use ?
the problem is (VECTOR LINUX) after installation is when it gets booted at its last stages where it should show DESKTOP , different colors of horizental lines ocurs on the desktop ????
Te same prob exist with the ubuntu Live cd.... or with the installation , graphics( Desktop ) is not displaying rather displaying vertical colored lines.
why that ???
is that with something wid motherbd.........
