View Full Version : [ubuntu] How to install with a patched raid controller driver?

I have a new server with a raid controller. The manufacturer supports Fedora and Suse, and provides patched kernel modules for the raid controller (evidently it was just a simple hardware ID bump).

I need to install Ubuntu on this. How should I go about it?

I could compile the module myself with the patch, but where can I get the source and config file used for 8.04 server edition?

Thanks
