problem in update manager

I keep getting a yellow triangle for the update manager and every time I run a recheck I get the attached message. Any help?

It looks like you added some third-party repositories. Try to go into System > Administration > Software sources. Try to deactivate/remove your third-party repos and proceed with an update. If it works, check again how you added these faulty repos, you may have got something wrong there.

OK. First, I would suggest using the main Ubuntu server, and not a localized mirror: In the "Software sources", on the first page, you should see the option (download from:) for which mirror to retrieve your updates from. Chose "Main mirror" instead of your localized (.gb) mirror.
Second, if I were you, I would tick in the "Updates" tab both first repos (ubuntu-security; ubuntu-updates). These can be very important.
Finally, if it still doesn't work, open a Terminal and copy/paste here the output of the following command line please:

cat /etc/apt/sources.list

[iaculallad]

Try the command below on your terminal:


sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

If it still displays the same error.
