hello community,

i've been working with ubuntu for a week. the installation went quit easely, but the tweaking of the os for my needs toke a lot of surfing.

the unofficial guide helpt me a lot, but this forum is very confusing.
it seems to me that a lot of the induviduals have the same questions. (no flame, i've been thinking of asking a lot of questions that have been answered in a lot of threads)

my question... how to search for specific threads that are usefull.

in other words, how do you folks browse this forum.

hey, i'll am what i'll am, and.... i've got a lot to learn

I generally browse it with a shot of whiskey. :)

Nah, you know just use the forum menu at the top.
You'll pick up the rest and learn quickly.

I click on New Posts and see what's new in all the forums (except the ones I've excluded via the User CP). If I'm looking for the solution to a particular problem, I'll search for howto nameofproblem

Well, I browse it by going to general chat. If there is nothing new in there ill go to absolute beginner chat, and sometimes 5.10 support and ubuntu art.

To find answers and things, I click on search at the top.
