View Full Version : [ubuntu] ubuntu 7.10 to 8.04 upgradation

On my laptop i have 7.10 installed.
Now i have 8.04 in a DVD and the DVD is boot able also.
I normally started Ubuntu and then inserted DVD to upgrade my Ubuntu to 8.04
I did it using synaptic as well as update manager, but i am not able to upgrade Ubuntu version.
Is it(upgradation) possible or i have to re-install Ubuntu.

How can i upgrade my OS.

HI and I believe to upgrade from a cd you will need the alternate cd
