Hi there again :P it seems that any time a post a new thread is just to ask for help :oops:, but i'm really going to kill my self if a don't get an answer to this one :(, here the deal, i was working on my graduation project for the university, and all was going fine (that why i have been absent from the forum for a lot of time ), i was doing it on java net beans 6.0 so i was really comfortable and all was good, when suddenly they told me," hey, there is a problem, you cannot do it on java, becouse why would like you to do it on flex, so don't complain and do in on flex ok ? ", i was like, ok no problem at all i can do it, so i search for the "installers" of flex,and adobe air, they are working, i download an example of a flex program, and it runs so i was like "wow this wont be hard ", but then i find my self asking "well, i have this installed, how do i write a program on this thing ?? ", y read that eclipse did worked for that, so i download it, and get it to work, and nothing happened i simply don't get where should i begging to program am all lost and really desperate :(, can some one tell me how do i beggin to write programs using flex on ubuntu ?? :S

it looks like this (http://freedomculture.wordpress.com/2007/05/13/adobe-flex-development-on-ubuntu-linux/) is a tutorial to install adobe flex on ubuntu linux :) gl :>

perhaps this is more what you were looking for: http://www.flex2ant.org/ ... but imho eclipse is a very overloaded IDE which can do everything except cooking :x. so if you just want to do flex, perhaps you may be better off with the adobe program.

i already have flex installed, and adobe air too, but still dont figure out how to program something using flex :S, but thanks for the page i think i was missing something, so i installed JRE, will try now and see how it goes

EDIT
=========================

Still not working, but i have found out that there is no graphic programing when using eclipse, thats not what i want :/ so i really net another IDE that have graphic programing mode for flex 3 ( yes i need flex 3, the really are a pain ._. i'm really begging to think that i should just install window$ and crack flex 3 =P ).
