It doesn't play my .avi files. I installed using the RPM.

I always install using the .bin file.

wget http://www.real.com/realcom/R?href=http://forms.real.com/real/player/download.html?f=unix/RealPlayer11GOLD.bin

sudo chmod +x RealPlayer11GOLD.bin

sudo ./RealPlayer11GOLD.bin

But I hardly ever use it.. only for .rm or .ram files.

Same old crap skin. With Real Player 11 for windows they get a cool looking dark skin. What's up with that?. I guess were second rate!.

the Real player actually uses the native skin in Linux, it uses the theme of your OS, so it should really look like everything else on your desktop, choose a nice theme:popcorn:

this is actually good!:KS as in good enough

Though unlike the Windows version Real Player is bareable on Linux, however I'd rather not have to use it. The damn thing always screws up file associations with rpm files, so every time I go to install a new RPM package after Installing real player, they try to open in Real Player.
